Polaris debuts its first specifically designed, race-ready UTV.

The first specifically designed, race-ready UTV in the market, the RZR Pro R Factory was unveiled by Polaris Off Road. The RZR Pro R Factory, which is based on Polaris's award-winning RZR Pro R platform, is especially designed to survive the punishing rigors of open desert racing and serves as a potent focal point for the organization's recently announced Polaris Factory Racing squad.

Polaris is doing the same with the RZR Pro R Factory and setting whole new standards for the UTV racing class, harkening back to the days when car OEMs produced factory-engineered, race-ready trophy vehicles for their factory off-road racing programs. The Polaris Factory Racing team has created four Pro R Factory cars, and the team and cars will premiere at the forthcoming San Felipe 250. They will debut this season.

Race-Tuned Strength

The ProStar Fury 2.0L engine, the most potent in a consumer side-by-side in the industry, lies at the core of the RZR Pro R Factory. The naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine produces 225 horsepower in factory condition.

The Polaris Lubricants PS-4 Extreme ultimate synthetic engine oil and the RZR Pro R Factory's massive rear-mounted radiators, which were tuned for wide-open desert racing, push the machine's performance to its absolute limit and let the factory drivers use it in the most challenging situations. Moreover, a driveline calibrated for racing and a transmission optimized for racing provide the most power to the ground. High-strength, light-weight materials improve the total power-to-weight ratio while also enabling maximum performance throughout.

Desert Strength Demonstrated

The RZR Pro R Factory is equipped with a high-strength, lightweight chassis that complies with the FIA T4 Class, SCORE, Best in the Desert, and Rally Raid race series. The specially designed vehicle has 35 inch BFGoodrich Tires that enhance power while remaining stable on Method Racing Wheels with unique Bead Grip technology, allowing it to survive the roughest and most extreme terrain. Critical parts like the engine and driveline are safeguarded by a full skid plate, front and rear Baja bumpers, and cage that provide total vehicle protection. The factory racers can confidently take on each racecourse thanks to integrated mounts for replacement tires, jacks, and tool packs as well as the knowledge that they can escape tricky situations when necessary.

Absolute Power

The RZR Pro R Factory is equipped with FOX 3.0 Live Valve X2 Internal Bypass shocks and a race-tuned DYNAMIX DV system to provide optimal control in the hardest terrain. These systems are the pinnacle of high performance, independently controlling each shock's compression and rebound to keep the car floating over the roughest whoop portions and firmly grounded through turns.  The RZR Pro R Factory has upgraded racing ergonomics to cater to the needs of the factory drivers and keep them comfortable throughout the lengthiest races. The race cockpit's Sparco seats, harnesses, and steering wheel offer the comfort required to maintain concentration on the upcoming curve, whoop section, or rock climb. A seven-inch RIDE COMMAND, GPS, and PCI radio communication systems allow factory drivers and their co-pilots to precisely watch the course, know what lies ahead, and stay in touch with their pit crew. The racers can see and be seen in the worst weather thanks to RIGID lights.
